Richard and Kayleigh’s Wedding at The Orangery

I had the privilege of covering both photography and videography for the gorgeous wedding of Richard and Kayleigh which took place on the 30th of March, 2024 at The Orangery, Margam Park.

The beautiful, bright and timeless setting suited the whole day seamlessly, filled with love, joy, laughter and heartfelt moments.

The venue offered a blend of natural beauty and architectural elegance, which provided a beautiful backdrop for both photo and video. The grandeur of the 18th - century Orangery, with its expansive windows and classical design, bathes the interiors in soft, natural light, ideal for both posed and candid shots.

The lush gardens surrounding The Orangery offer endless opportunities for outdoor portraits. The meticulously mowed lawns, vibrant flower beds, and the scenic backdrop of Margam castle add a touch of fairy-tale magic to each frame. The serene ornamental lake and the majestic stone staircase are perfect for capturing romantic and timeless moments between the couple.

One of my favourite aspects of shooting at The Orangery was the versatility of the location. Whether it was a wide shot capturing the entire venue in its glory or an intimate close-up amidst the greenery, every corner of Margam Park contributed to creating a rich, visual story of the wedding day. The staff at The Orangery were very accommodating, ensuring that the day ran smoothly and allowed me and my associate to focus on capturing the essence of the celebration.

In essence, photographing and videoing Richard and Kayleigh's wedding at The orangery, Margam Park was an experience that combined elegance, beauty and a touch of history, resulting in a collection of unforgettable memories that they will cherish for a lifetime.
